If you’re anything like me you’ve got both arms up so you might as well wave them around. Just saying. Today we’re going to talk about my favorite obsession lately- “The Voice” on NBC. & hear me sing its praises. See what I did there? Nudge nudge. Luke’s Lobster Comes to Las Vegas!
Last week Ryan & I attended the pre-opening of a restaurant any lobster lovers will be obsessed with! Luke’s Lobster is brand new & located right on The Strip. You walk up, order, then have the option of standing tables, a few back tables, or eating your rolls in hand while taking in the city. Being that I’m from California (West coat meets east coats? It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year…but it can also be kind of stressful. I love visiting & having family visit but I also adhere to a strict “sanctuary” policy. The Time Chamber is the Book You Didn’t Know You Needed
Coloring books are everywhere these days, have you noticed? Some are cheaply made but affordable while others are incredibly intricate & printed on heavy paper. There are plenty floating out there just for adults now as well & the “trend” is picking up speed. I’m actually an artistic soul & tend to freehand but sometimes when my brain is overworked I love to color within the lines. It gives me a reason to think more about colors & actually relax more than sketching. The Time Chamber by Daria Song is the most beautiful book I’ve ever had the honor of coloring in. I love everything about this little “fairy tale” (more on that in a minute!) & the fact that it doubles as an actual book you can read your children has me head over heels. Keep reading to check it out!…

Creamy Whipped Bleu Cheese Spread & Dip Recipe
There are two types of people in this world- those who appreciate the fabulous-ness of bleu cheese & those who just don’t. My husband just doesn’t get it & I could live off seriously… fragrant cheeses for quite awhile. So what is a girl to do? It isn’t like he forbids it but I also have to figure out a way to work in my love of blue into some lunch & snack options. & then in walks this idea of making it last even longer by doubling it with another cheese. Keep reading to scoop up this recipe & nosh to your heart’s desire!…
Give Thanks Beautifully this Veteran’s Day
When you fall in love with someone, you don’t always get to choose the details. Ryan is my match who happens to be in the military. I really struggle with both being a supportive military wife & having a “normal” home life like everyone else. Sometimes this life is really hard & we make a lot of sacrifices most people don’t have to think about. We are pretty blessed so it gets me thinking about the lives of other veterans & those serving as well. I get asked a lot- “What do you guys need?” “What can we do to say thanks?” & now I actually have an answer!…
