For those that aren’t aware, I’m super close with my mom Hana Mattocks…see her on instagram right here! Because we’re military, we haven’t always lived close to each other. But currently we do & we make the most of it!
Ethel M always makes my local list because their products are fantastically fresh…plus it is an actual experience! You can even go have a chocolate tasting & learning course! But my mom & I absolutely love walking the cactus garden on the grounds as well. While munching on chocolates of course! This happens to be their spring sampler.
Glow in the Dark Flower is one of my absolute favorite finds! I’ve seen a lot of roses in my time, but never any that glow in the dark! Here I’m showing you a single blue rose (it comes with a beautiful dome pictured in the overhead) that looks dramatic & delicate.
This box of nine roses is actually ombre to purple & pink! Isn’t it gorgeous? & they last at least a year! Below I’ve linked my video so you can really see the glow for yourself after being under a light for a bit! Check them out online here!

tsp Baking Company is one of my favorite local gems- & they actually have a black holographic floor. I felt at home there obviously! This cake is a great representation of their creativity! Holographic glitter is also always a bonus! This is perfect for the mom who rocks, but they have tons of designs! Check them out online here & also see tons of cake ideas on their instagram here!
If you really want to go all out for Mother’s Day, consider a mother-daughter day at the spa! We were lucky enough to be hosted at Trump Spa & the whole experience was so much fun! We chatted, sipped on fancy drinks, & had a relaxing day together.
After you get your slippers, robes, etc you head over to the relaxation lounge. Inside it is soothing, there’s snacks, lots of lounging options, & this beautiful water! Notice the crystals? They infuse the water with good vibes. I actually do this at home sometimes so this made me smile!
We each got massages after hanging in the relaxation room for a bit. Everything was beautiful, clean, & I was sad for it to end. They have monthly specials as well so be sure to check those out!
We ended our day in their gorgeous salon! They offer hair & makeup services here. I’d love to go back for a glam outing!
