Let me start with saying- this review is from the viewpoint of a low carb/keto gal. So many cookbooks just don’t work for me in general. However, often paleo recipes do! Or they can be adapted rather simply. Because- spoiler- I definitely eat excessive amounts of cheese. So what do I think? Keep reading to find out!…

Marked in Ink is the Ultimate Cool Coloring Book
What do you look for in a coloring book? Some people seek one that really reminds them of their childhood while others take the “adult” part pretty seriously! For me the Marked in Ink coloring book reminds me of being a teenager & all the tattoos I planned on getting. I’ve watched Megan Massacre on TV for quite some time & her tattoos are always beautiful. I only have three tattoos myself (teenage me just cringed) but now I can color a bunch!…

Coloring books are all the rage- & I’ve been sucked in. I like patterns but I LOVE quirky. Happy Cooking: Make Every Meal Count … Without Stressing Out by Giada De Laurentiis

The Time Chamber is the Book You Didn’t Know You Needed
Coloring books are everywhere these days, have you noticed? Some are cheaply made but affordable while others are incredibly intricate & printed on heavy paper. There are plenty floating out there just for adults now as well & the “trend” is picking up speed. I’m actually an artistic soul & tend to freehand but sometimes when my brain is overworked I love to color within the lines. It gives me a reason to think more about colors & actually relax more than sketching. The Time Chamber by Daria Song is the most beautiful book I’ve ever had the honor of coloring in. I love everything about this little “fairy tale” (more on that in a minute!) & the fact that it doubles as an actual book you can read your children has me head over heels. Keep reading to check it out!…
I’m Wild for Phoenix Claws & Jade Trees
Let me start with- Thank you Kian Lam Kho! I am a huge fan of Chinese cuisine but since I don’t exactly have the family traditions…I always feel like I’m making takeout instead of something more traditional. Do I love takeout? Well I am not going to lie- yes! But I know there’s a vast food culture out there that I haven’t gotten my hands on. & I have big goals! I think I gave away the big “YES I LOVE THIS” part…but keep reading to see why Phoenix Claws and Jade Trees by Kian Lam Kho is so amazing!…
