This book is HUGE! Over 500 pages! You’ve got tons to choose from including an entire chapter just on drinks. They use a ton of ingredients I’m personally familiar with like coconut oil & quinoa as well as things I haven’t experimented with likeĀ Whole-Husk Psyllium flakesĀ or non-GMO sugar alcohols. Very interesting to learn about! They also use some protein powders in recipes I would’ve never thought to! Every recipe looks gorgeous- & like something that belongs on the family dining table. This isn’t one of those fancy cookbooks that worries a lot about plating or even uses a lot of specialized techniques. Besides the interesting ingredients that I’m personally unfamiliar with up until now, this really strikes me as a great cookbook for anyone looking to add some healthy to their meals without going too fancy. It has been a great read- I’ve found lots of inspiration!
I haven’t read their first book, have you? Recommend it? Would you pick up a cookbook with unique ingredients that take a healthier approach like this one?
