Thanks to Martha Stewart I’ve gotten to try a lot of new things- but the best have been healthier options! You guys know how much I love cooking but I’ve been trying to splurge a lot less! For the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing some recipes from the Clean Slate Cookbook & Guide from the editors of Martha Stewart Living (which you guys knew!) but I’ve also been trying her supplements as well! Keep reading to enter my giveaway to win it all for yourself!

I’ve been writing recently about some healthy recipes either straight from the Clean Slate Cookbook or inspired by. You can click on any of the photos above & they will take you to the corresponding recipes! I’m still enjoying this cookbook & have re-read multiple sections as well so you’ll likely see more soon as well!
“More than just a cookbook, Clean Slate, from the editors of Martha Stewart Living, provides you with the nutritionally sound information you need to shop for and prepare food that nourishes body and mind. You’ll find guidelines for restocking your pantry with whole grains, beans and legumes, lean proteins, and healthy fats; glossaries of the best sources of detoxifiers, antioxidants, and other health-boosting nutrients; and menus for a simple 3-day cleanse and a 21-day whole-body detox, with easy-to-follow tips and strategies for staying on track.”
While I really love the front section which gives a nice overview of the cleanse, detox, & guidelines…for me the photography really takes the cake. Probably a gluten-free, vegan cake…but cake none-the-less! There’s a whole section on beverages, pantry items, & of course dessert along with your usual courses you’d expect. The photography, like the ingredients themselves, is clean & easy to visualize. There’s nothing overly complicated or confusing which is really an excellent attribute when you’re trying to follow instructions or do something you just haven’t done yourself before.
Each recipe (over 160 of them) isn’t just beautifully photographed…but actually interesting to read. I love the reasoning behind the ingredients chosen & the suggestions as well. Each recipe also has really detailed instructions, nutritional information, & handy little labels like Dairy-Free, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc. Everything is simple, clean, & just really easy to manage compared to most cookbooks. It truly does have the guide aspect down. Everything is also organized into chapters to help you get & stay healthy: Replenish, Reboot, Recharge, Re-energize, Restore, & Relax.
Here is a handy Pinterest-friendly version of the Clean Slate Cookbook & Guide from the editors of Martha Stewart Living for your convenience 🙂
