Lately my life has been completely crazy. I’ve been completely off my normal schedule & it is only getting more intense. So what’s this mean for my eating habits? Well…let’s just say I’m not exactly making the best decisions. I’m either completely forgetting to eat or snacking on junk throughout the day. So how am I fixing that? Keep reading to find out how I’m loving my snacks with 25% less sugar & lots of fiber!
I’ve been trying to work out more so I’m either doing that really early in the morning or in the late afternoon. Afterwards I’m starving! To treat myself for working in some fitness I’ve been throwing a Fiber One bar in my bag just in case I need it. I picked up nice, big boxes at Costco recently so I won’t be running out any time soon! I love not worrying about running out for a long time & getting a healthy treat in bulk. Anyway after a workout this bar is perfect- it fulfills my love of chocolate & is still a healthy alternative to candy. Plus no artificial flavors or colors.
Sometimes I have to force myself to take a break to recharge my ideas & relax from typing. Normally I opt for coffee or tea, a light snack, & catching up on youtube videos or emails. My favorite snack is fruit or the Fiber One 90 Calorie Lemon Bars. I nibble on one bar & it really helps me take a break- not your normal chocolate binge! The lemon flavor is super bright & the topping tastes like white chocolate. A perfect treat that isn’t too heavy either at just 90 calories & 20% of your daily fiber intake! More fiber than sugar? Plus they’re so good they should be called “Lemon Explosion” bars! Yes please!
Lately my evening snack as been a necessity. Lighter dinners that are quick are perfect but around 7pm I’m definitely craving something sweet! When Ryan is working super late or even working night shift, I tend to work later & don’t make the time to prep food. As much as I love the Fiber One Lemon Bars…but in the evening I want a hit of chocolate! & the Fiber One Oats & Chocolate Chewy Bars are as close to a candy bar as I can get but actually has benefits like 9 grams of fiber! Plus they’ve reduced the sugar by 25% which is huge. That’s pretty awesome!!!
