Doing something a bit different here as well! I’m excited to cover the food & my OOTD…but wanted to mention a new collaboration for 2018! So for those who don’t know- I run a beauty blog called All Things Beautiful XO. I’ve really enjoyed building this channel where I cover fashion, food, travel, pets, & pretty much anything else I find interesting! All Things Beautiful XO will always be my first baby & will always be beauty as far as I’m concerned. When I knew I wanted to cover lifestyle content I was able to make a choice- switch to blogging lifestyle with beauty thrown in or start a secondary blog. & that’s why I have two! In this new series you’ll see my beauty details over on All Things Beautiful XO & all of the food, fashion, & extra details on Home in High Heels! So they go together, but are still separate! This way, if you want to see makeup & beauty details- I got you! If you want to see more- be sure to CLICK HERE to read the partner post over on www.allthingsbeautifulxo.com!

Let’s talk about the restaurant first, shall we? Oh La La Bistro is a hidden gem. Very French. Very cute. & very tasty. It is more intimate inside but the menu is quite varied. All of us fell in love with this little nook where there were magazines in French as well!
About the Oh La La French Bistro in Las Vegas- 2120 N. Rampart Bd #150 Las Vegas. NV. 89128
OHLALA is a modern french bistro that make you fall in love with french food. Ohlala had been created by Richard Terzaghi and Nicolas Sillac, co-owners of L’Osteria Del Forno in San Francisco. In the Industry restaurant since 15 years. Whether you’re looking for a romantic rendez-vous or a place to enjoy for happy hour with large choice of different plates to share, you’ll find the perfect spotat Ohlala. The décor midway between little parisian bistro and cozy restaurant is ideal for Rendez-Vous and happy friends meeting. The bar waits for you, enjoy happy hours, and wine tasting.
The wine list is comprised of high quality yet affordable wines from France and California. An equal amount of thought and attention is given to food and wine pairings. Our menu hits the spot whether you’re in the mood for a matching appetizer-apéritif, a full dinner or a “café gourmand” dessert.
WARM CRUSTED PISTACHIO GOAT CHEESE- with onions confit jam, pistachio, honey, & crostini. I love pistachios & this is likely my new favorite way to eat them! The whole table jammed on this- pun on purpose.

MOULES POULETTE- 1lb PEI mussels with bacon & onions cream sauce. Served with french fries. Loved dipping my bread in this sauce especially!
We tried a variety of desserts! The sundae-looking items are the Chocolat Liegeois which are Chocolate and vanilla ice cream with home made chocolate ganache and home made vanilla whipped cream. & yes- just as delicious as it sounds! The Creme Brulee was perfect- not too sweet either. The tiramisu is from the chef’s mother’s recipe & it is delicious! That Creme Caramel is like a decadent french-style flan full of happiness. But our very favorite thing of all- mom & I were absolutely wild about. That oober chocolate-y mousse with all this amazing orange zest & flavor. I’ll be back for that alone!

Let’s talk clothes! This strappy red dress is way too big- I bought it on sale from Charlotte Russe but here’s a bunch of similar dresses as well. I kept it because I’ve learned dresses are one of the few things I can “fake” after weight loss with belts & quick edits. I wanted to wear this at least once before donating it! The arm holes are too large so I paired it with this Baciano cardigan with the sheer sleeves & black & white sleeves. Something tighter on top that’s fitted helps to give me more of a shape instead of being baggy all around.
I paired it with a rose gold, metallic skinny belt ( I ALWAYS get belts here lately- they’re so affordable!) to give myself a waist. Booties are basically all I’m wearing this season- & here are some similar edgy booties for you to check out here, here, & here from the place I buy boots most often every year! I wear these ALL the time because they go with everything!
To carry around all my stuff, I have my red leather studded crossbody. I love it because it is unbranded but this one is actually unlabeled inside! I’ve gathered a few similar options here, here, & this one here has a really similar vibe with fringe even! I actually reach for a bag like this year round. I actually have THIS BAG as well which is similarly loved!
I want to talk about these bralettes ( I also own some of these & they’re basically the same!) a bit for a moment because I get SO many questions about them on instagram whenever I post wearing them or have them in my stories! I actually put these over my regular bra & they help when things are especially low cut. As I size down, these have been a lifesaver! I matched it pretty well with the dress here but hopefully you can see it there! I have them in multiple colors & they’re perfect! Plus, incredibly comfortable & totally seamless. I loved the way it criss-crossed here too!
Since they’re most visible here & I get asked about my rings a lot- let’s chat about those too! Ryan bought me this ring from Vancaro in the gothic “The Dark Queen” style & I wear it all the time. I always get compliments on it! Also pictured are a few of my midi rings- I tend to buy midi rings from Kohl’s, Forever 21, & Wish most often! I highly recommend Wish if you want to try them & aren’t sure if you’ll wear them often because everything on there is such a bargain. I’m not sponsored in any way by Wish by the way- I just freaking love it & Ryan does too. Download the Wish app and use promo code jjlngsn on your first order to get up to 50% off! Get the app here: https://wish.com/dl My nails are actually from Kiss imPRESS & you can pick up this exact style here in “Bad Romance” which really lasted ages on me with a bit of nail glue.
Mom doesn’t think you’ll want outfit details for her (see her on instagram here @hanacressym!)- comment below to say YOU DO so I can convince her! I’d love to show off her cute style more!

These earring pictured are incredible! They are from the Kendra Scott Color Bar & I made them myself! Well- I picked the stones, setting, etc. I’ll be covering the entire event soon but had to mention them here too! Stay tuned for the selection process on Home in High Heels!
Don’t forget- you can see all my makeup details on All Things Beautiful XO right here as well!
