This speaker has a longgg name- the Altec Lansing BoomJacket Jolt Portable Bluetooth Speaker. But in short- this thing is rad. I am so scatterbrained these days- especially because Eloise apparently can crawl like the wind & REALLY wants to walk. We’re going from room to room & I am killing my phone battery along the way. Disney songs. So many Disney songs. & this has been a lifesaver.
Eloise also is grabby. & by grabby I mean will take away whatever she wants. & by that I mean then she’ll drop it. & by drop I certainly mean throw as far as her tiny baby arms can manage. No matter how expensive that item might be. & this little powerhouse can take it. It has an IP67 Everything Proof rating – & it floats!
The color-changing lights? Honestly I might like them even more than Ellie does. I love the rainbow effect but can you can also shift it to a specific color or even to dim & brighten with what’s being played. Technically there are 5 LED lighting modes so you can also include slow pulse, slow fade, & if you aren’t into lights…just turn off that feature!
See the silicone top here? Easy buttons & that is a charging stand! Just sit your own on top & boom. The Qi Wireless Charging Pad built-in on the top makes this SO much more functional for me personally. No more killing my phone & it connects to over 50 compatible speaker devices. Need a boost for a non-Qi enabled device? No biggie – the built-in USB charging port ensures that you can get the charge you need!
So it can charge a battery…but what about battery life? 30 hours! Plus you can play your phone through & access Siri, Google, & other Bluetooth devices. It weighs only 3.3 pounds so I can put it pretty much anywhere in the house & it is so durable I usually just sit it on the floor while I’m getting things done without any concerns. & it stands up to baby drool which I know you were curious about.
