If there is one thing I look forward to each spring – it is floral dresses! Many can transition in summer & they let me take advantage of the glorious sunshine. & even a reason to shave my legs! Today I’m talking about three of my favorites types: date appropriate, vintage-inspired, & flowy maxi dresses! Plus I’m sharing my secrets to keeping them look new! Keep reading for all the details!
Floral Strappy Bodycon Midi Dress — Green & Pink Floral Halter Dress
Plunge V-Neck Floral Sundress — One-Shoulder Embroidery Floral Black Party Dress
Floral Organza Green Dress — Floral Print Slim Bodycon Dress
Whether out on a date with my hubby or a girls only day- having an easy dress I feel great in is so important! Most of these are shorter but can transition from day to night.
Floral Spring Garden 1950’s Dress — Vintage Halter Retro Swing Dress
Floral Sleeveless Garden Party Bee Dress — Sash Blue Floral Rockabilly Dress
Blue/Green Vintage A-Line Swing Dress — Purple Rose Vintage Retro Housewife Dress
Whether you have curves or not- vintage cuts are so flattering! This tucked waist is one of my favorites for spring & summer because the full skirt lets you breathe. These dresses are fitted through the best & waist to accentuate! The purple one is actually in my closet now!
Sleeveless Navy Printed Shirring Maxi Dress — Sleeveless Neutral Halter Neck Floral Maxi Dress
Floral Print Watercolor Maxi Beach Dress — Bright Thin Strap Floral Maxi Dress
Dark Blue V-Neck Wrap Floral Long Dress with 3/4 Sleeve — Sleeveless Empire Waist Strapless Maxi Dress
Maxi dresses are an absolute must-have in my closet! I often alter the length myself since I am so short…& you probably can too if necessary! I always have a mix of top options- strapless, halter, etc. Normally I just throw on a jean jacket & go!
So how do I keep my dresses looking beautiful without dry cleaning every week? Dryel. Always. Here’s what the starter kit looks like- you can see the bag in the upper left as well! As soon as spring hits I wear a ton of chiffon & other fabrics that just get trashed in the wash!
So how does it work? There are three simple steps- Zip It, Steam It, & Wear It! You treat any visible stains with the included spray then add 1-5 garments to your zipper bag. Then you add in your Dryel cloth, zip it up, & tumble dry on medium heat for about 15 minutes or 30 minutes for deep cleaning. That’s it! Remove your clothes & wear them!
So how do you keep your clothes fresh? Which spring dresses did you like? Any you’re adding to your list?
