DIY Salted Caramel Glazed Donut Holes Recipe

  • Peanut Oil
  • 2 cans of Buttermilk Biscuit Dough
  • For Icing:
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 teaspoons caramel coffee creamer
  • ΒΌ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or sprinkling fresh vanilla
  • salt for the top
Instructions
  1. In a deep pan or Dutch oven heat about 2 inches of peanut oil for frying to about 350 degrees.
  2. Lay out the biscuits & divide each into 3-4 & roll into balls lightly using your hands.
  3. Fry each biscuit donut until golden on one side then flip with tongs. Cook until golden on the other side.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Mix together the icing ingredients except for the creamer. Add creamer in small increments until desired consistency is reached.
  6. TO DIP
  7. Swirl each mostly cool doughnut into the mixture & rotate your wrist for an even finish. Let set on a rack. The icing will even out for a lovely finish. Top with fun sprinkles if you're awesome. But for salted caramel- don't forget the salt!
