“Why do you need a cookbook holder anyway?” my husband had asked me.
Here’s my top 3 reasons:
1) Splattered sauce/bacon grease/salad dressing/etc. all over new cookbook
2) Bought many cookbooks on my Kindle, convenient but not kitchen safe.
3) Getting sick of soaking cooking magazines while trying to use recipes within them.
Cookbook holder time? Oh yes, I do believe so!
So I went in search of one online. Seriously, there are more cookbook holders in this world than I could have ever dreamed. From glass wooden, to fancy metal, to delicate glass, you have you pick. Wood? Nah not my style. Metal? Too many crevices to clean. Glass? Are you kidding me?
I eventually settled on acrylic. Simple design, easy to clean, effective. Plus, a bargain at under $10. Not all of them were splatter-proof, covering the cookbook itself. Obviously I much prefer this.
